The Spatial Assessment
We begin by exploring how you live, what feels effortless, and what has never quite worked. Through the lens of The Square Inch Method™, every space has a story. This is where we listen.
A consultation fee applies and is credited toward your project upon booking.
Onboarding & The Proposal
Once we are aligned, you will be warmly welcomed into the Maison Systems Studio experience. A custom plan is curated entirely for your space, with every product recommended and every system considered with intention.
You will receive: a personalized proposal curated for your space · a curated product recommendation list tailored to your aesthetic and needs, with the option to purchase independently or through us · a service agreement to review and sign. A deposit is required upon signature to reserve your date.

I am Karla Vargas-Edwards, founder of Maison Systems Studio LLC and creator of The Square Inch Method™. I started this company because I lived the problem before I built the solution. I kept adding products and buying organizers. Nothing held because the foundation was never built first.
When I walk into a space I can feel where it resists. Where things stall. Where the system is missing. We don't just reorganize. We restore the flow.
My background is in accounting, a discipline built on precision. Every number has a place. Every entry has a purpose. I brought that same thinking into physical space and built a methodology around it.
Every project begins with listening. Every system is built by hand. Every space we leave behind holds a different kind of quiet, the kind that only comes when everything is finally where it belongs.

Select your service and schedule directly through our portal. It takes just a few minutes.
Complete Your Questionnaire and Submit Photos
Once your booking is confirmed, a questionnaire arrives in your inbox. Complete it thoroughly and submit photos of your space. All materials must be received no later than 24 hours before your scheduled consultation.
Your FaceTime Consultation
We meet live, camera on. Through the call, we get a true sense of your space — what a photograph cannot fully show. We discuss what is working, what is not, and what needs to change.
Receive Your Custom Proposal — Within 48 Hours
A detailed proposal prepared specifically for your space, your lifestyle, and your timeline arrives within 48 hours. Review it at your own pace.
Upon Deposit — Your Saturday is Reserved
Once you approve and sign, your project date is secured. We handle everything from there.
Project Day — The Square Inch Method™ Comes to Life
You are present at the start to sign the Discarding Agreement. No item leaves your space without your approval. We go to work. When the transformation is complete, you are invited back in.

What is The Square Inch Method™?
It is a proprietary organizational framework developed by Maison Systems Studio. Every inch of your space is assessed, cleared, and arranged with intention — so the system works for how you actually live, not how someone else thinks you should.
What happens during the Spatial Assessment?
We meet over FaceTime, camera on. Before the call, you complete a questionnaire and submit photos of your space. During our 30 minutes together, we walk through what is working, what is not, and what your space needs. Your custom proposal arrives within 48 hours.
Do I need to be home during the transformation?
Yes. You are present at the start to sign the Discarding Agreement. Once that is complete, we go to work. When the transformation is finished, you are invited back in.
Will you tell me what to throw away?
Before the transformation begins, you will sign a Discarding Agreement. Nothing leaves your space without your explicit approval. Every decision is yours.
Is my home kept confidential?
Completely. Your name, address, and personal information are never shared. Your privacy is a commitment, not a condition.
Will my space appear on social media?
All clients sign a Media Release before project day. This document defines exactly what is captured, how it is used, and what is never shared. No audio is ever recorded inside your home. No names, addresses, or identifying information are ever published. Content shared for marketing purposes shows only the finished work — never before photos, never anything that reflects on how you lived before we arrived. Your privacy is a commitment, not a condition.
Do you work alone?
Projects are led by Karla Vargas-Edwards. Depending on the scope of your project, a vetted assistant may join to ensure the work is completed with the same standard of care.
What days and hours do you work?
Project days are Saturdays only, by appointment. All scheduling is handled privately through your client portal.
How is my project total determined?
Every proposal is custom. Your investment is based on the scope of your space, the complexity of the system needed, and your timeline. No two projects are priced the same because no two spaces are the same.
